About Us

Our History

Santa Barbara Teachers Federal Credit Union began in 1936, with a vision to offer financial services to all public school employees and their family members in Santa Barbara County. We are a financial cooperative, entirely owned by our membership.

Our Membership Today

In keeping with the vision and spirit of our founding principles of providing low rates on loans, higher rates on savings and excellent member services, we maintain consistent, conservative policies and keep in mind the best interest of our membership. Our vision today is to become the primary financial institution of all our member-owners.
